North West Ambulance Service can offer you this and much more!The Role: NHS 111 Health Advisors take a variety of incoming calls from patients, providing them with an appropriate response to their urgent healthcare needs. This could mean booking a GP appointment, advising them to attend an out of hour’s service or even dispatching an ambulance! It is a challenging, exciting and extremely rewarding role working based in a call centre with a difference - where no two shifts are the same!
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Good communicators with an excellent telephone manner.
- Organised with a strong attention to detail
- Good administration skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
- Computer literate – including inputting and accessing Windows based packages together with a high standard of keyboard skills.
- Resilient, highly motivated and passionate about delivering quality patient care.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent vocational qualifications.
- Basic salary of £21,730 - £23, 177 pro rataplusunsocial hour’s allowances for working evenings and weekends.
- 27 days annual leave per year pro rata, which increases dependant on service
- Training and support from our dedicated education team.
- A nationally recognised qualification in NHS Pathways Licence.

We are currently recruiting positions for 30 and 37.5 hours working between 0700-2400, Monday-Sunday. Candidates must befully flexibleand be able to workanyshifts within these hours.
The post holder must be available to work a minimum of 6/8 weekend shifts per month and complete a 6 week Full Time training coursestarting 20 February 2023.
Interviews will be held on the 29thand 30thDecember via MS Teams with successful candidates being invited to an Open Day whilst being onboarded.
