This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.

Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Health Visiting service as an Admin Assistant to provide high quality support in the daily running of Community Services.

As a member of the team, you will possess excellent organisation, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as a good eye for detail and a conscientious approach to your work to ensure that systems are maintained, and documents are produced to a high standard. You will be highly motivated and adaptable with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This post has a wide and varied workload working with Health Visitors, Public Health Staff Nurses and Nursery Nurses and supporting with immunisation clinics. Duties will include but are not limited to welcoming patients face to face, ordering on PECOS and H-PAC, preparing clinics and notification packs, filing, photocopying.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided with the opportunity to learn various new skills whilst supporting multi-agency staffing groups.
