- Gather and verify ingredients and labels for production and blending.
- Properly label all products with top, bottom and allergen labels if needed.
- Clean combo dumper between each combo.
- Follow production schedule and meat usage sheets.
- Deliver properly labeled, blended products to correct processing line
- Wash equipment and line as needed for product changeovers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow our color code system in regard to food safety (including labeling product with appropriate allergen labels).
- Attention to detail in the blending procedure and process.

Qualifications:
Food safety and quality are the responsibility of every individual working at Kansas City Sausage Company. You are expected to:
- Follow USDA/SQF and GMP guidelines.
- Previous blending experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions).
- Be able to work in a 38°F environment.
- Ability to stand 8+ hours per day.
- Mechanical ability to set up various equipment.
- Be able to safely operate a manual pallet jack.
- Ability to carry 50 pounds up to blending level.
- Ability to push or pull up to 2,200 pounds.
