Job description
During summer months, Crim Fitness Foundation encourages healthy living through garden and nutrition programs, supports summer feeding sites, and promotes summer learning through STEM programming and sports-based youth development. Programming includes: summer running clubs, summer sports programming and sports-based youth development, nutrition education, garden development and education, and community education in 5 Flint community Schools.

Member Duties : AmeriCorps Summer Associate VISTAs will support garden and nutrition education for K-7 students, including maintaining and improving school gardens. Summer Associate VISTAs will also support K-7 sports-based youth development, including the facilitation of physical education activities such as summer sports and summer running clubs.
