1.0 Reporting Relationships:

1.1 Reports directly to: Assistant Plant Manager

1.2 Reports indirectly to: Plant Manager

1.3 Indirectly supervises with: Production Leads

1.4 Directly supervises. All Hourly Employees

1.5 Interfaces with: All Hourly Employees, Scheduling/Planning

2.0 Areas of responsibility and Authority.

2.1 People:

2.1.1 Assists in all staffing strategies including manning, and headcount to improve PLANT LABOR SCORECARD METRICS

2.1.2 Works with New employees in development, and process training/Qualification

2.1.3 Directs daily challenges to staff all key work center equipment.

2.1.4 Interacts with all staff to eliminate unnecessary bottlenecks that could limit throughput goals

2.1.5 Provides Time keeping verifications, and approvals. Updates time keeping software.

2.1.6 Provides monthly performance reviews for new employees

2.2 Safety:

2.2.1 Performs daily tasks to Improve Plant Safety, and meet PLANT

SCORECARD METRICS FOR RECORDABLE INJURIES.

2.2.2 Performs daily Safety Audits to identify, Document and correct any Unsafe Work Behavior, Unsafe Work Condition

2.2.3 Provides employees basic PPE instruction

2.2.4 Provides employee accountability for safety infractions

2.3 Quality:

2.3.1 Performs daily tasks to Improve PLANT QUALITY

SCORECARD METRICS, and provide consistency in production processes

2.3.2 Performs daily Audits to verify that all Specification Sheets, and off-line Quality Checks are being performed accurately, and to our written Standard Procedure

2.3.3 Participates in Team Root Cause Investigations.

2.3.4 Provides guidance in Corrective Actions, and communicates all results with Employees.

2.4 Delivery:

2.4.1 Provides daily tasks to improve PLANT DELIVERY TO

2.4.2 Provides daily data collect of Work Center Throughputs, and

Downtime.

2.4.3 Provides Side-by-Side assistance with plant employees to reduce unnecessary production downtime

2.4.4 Participates in Team Internal Corrective Actions to provide countermeasures in inefficiencies.

2.4.5 Provides employee Counseling, and Accountability for any inefficiencies

2.4.6 Provides work load balancing to improve on time delivery

2.5 Cost:

2.5.1 Performs daily tasks to reduce SCRAP-TOTAL MATERIAL

LOSS SCORECARD METRICS

2.5.2 Oversees the production critical processes, and changeovers that produce Startup, Set-up Scrap.

2.5.3 Participates in Cross-Functional efforts to reduce set-up waste, and provide feedback to improve written Standard Work Instructions

2.5.4 Participates in Monthly Cycle Counts of raw materials

2.5.5 Performs various audits for Inventory accuracy

3.0 Requirements of the Position:

3.1 Mechanical ability, basic math, computer

Experience. (Microsoft Office: Word. Excel, Outlook)

3.2 Education. High school or GED

3.3 Specific Training: Completed Formal Supervisor Training or (On-line

Course) / Exhibit Careful Communication Skills

3.4 Complete all required Site Specific Safety Training, or (On-Line)

3.5 Complete a Standard First-Aid/ AED training

3.6 Knowledge of OSHA Reports, and Record Keeping guidelines

3.7 All standard company requirements outlined in the Technicote Company
