3rd Shift Production Supervisor
Job description
Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Shift Manager in executing plant operations and
providing a safe and sanitary work place the shift. The Production Supervisor ensures that employees are
producing quality products in a safe manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Communicate information from production floor to Shift Manager.
Ensure all SOP’s are followed.
Ensure product packaging meets requirements.
Develop positive relationships with superiors and subordinates.
Train and motivate production line employees to accomplish team goals.
Responsible for shift schedule, work station assignments, breaks and lunches.
Coordinate production startups, change overs and shut down.
Responsible for meeting production goals.
Ensure safety and SOP rules are being followed.
Complete required paper work and assist in production as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Production Supervisor supervises the manufacturing employees on the respective shift.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Education and/or Experience
Minimum high school diploma or GED
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months
to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills & understanding in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Other
All other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to sit; use hands to grasp, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee
frequently is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel and crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include
close vision and color vision. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met
by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.44 - $23.41 per hour
