DESCRIPTION:
Frequent support to the Redstone Arsenal STORM customer and other user communities as a Field Technician. MLRS Launcher responsibilities will be maintaining/troubleshooting M270, M270A1, and HIMARS vehicles.
Working on Military vehicles, MLRS, Bradley, HUMVEE, HEMITT, etc.
Render technical guidance to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance problems. Provide an analysis of maintenance program and recommendations that may be beneficial.
Will need to get the following license and physicals after hired on.
- Need Forklift Physical.
- Need Government climatic physical.
- Need Lockheed Martin Spirometer Physical.
- Need DOT physical.
- No Clearance.
- 4/10 Work Week.
- $25.00-40.00/hr.
- Travel: No.
- Duration: 6/1/2023 to 6/1/2024.
- Non-Exempt.
- Contract Position.
MANDATORY:
- High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned preventive and demand maintenance tasks and 1 Year of experience.
- Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting skills on vehicles and test equipment.
DESIRED:
- Familiar with Redstone Arsenal, AL operations.
- Familiar with engine and diesel engines.
