Job description
The Merchandising Coordinator responsibilities include data entry, cross functional communication and document organization. This position will provide exposure to Category Management and potential for future promotion in to an Assistant Category Manager role.Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Purchase Order Management- The maintenance of inbound purchase orders. Tracking orders and following up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of product. Specific functions to include:
o Inventory Analyst Follow-up
o Vendor/Remote office Follow-up
o Logistics Follow-up
o QA Follow-up
o PC Follow-up
- Review and process invoice approvals
- Form management to include processing of sample testing requests and cataloging of purchase approval documents
- Weekly reporting updates in Excel
- Sample management to include cataloging and storage of potential new item additions in flooring and accessories.
- Proactively assist others. Step in and help when and as needed.
- Execute special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to solve problems and apply creative and timely solutions.
- Attendance and reliability is extremely important in this position

Education:
- Associate’s Degree, required. Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
- 1 - 3 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
