PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a Manufacturing client in Oscoda who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for a Mechanic career who are ready to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have A&P Mechanic experience.

A&P Mechanic-Hangar Maintenance Benefits:

A&P Mechanic-Hangar Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Assisting a mechanic during repair or alteration of an article.
• Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
• Following safety rules and procedures.
• Keeping the work area clean and neat.
• Must have some prior factory experience.

A&P Mechanic-Hangar Maintenance Qualifications:

To be considered for the A&P Mechanic-Hangar Maintenance position, applicants should:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Must possess an A&P license and 747 aircraft experience. Must be a US citizen.
• High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.
• Must have good working knowledge of world geography, air cargo / aircraft ground operations.
• Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have safety toe boots/shoes.
• Must have basic hand tools/drill/driver.
• Understand the importance of being a team player or know how to work independently.
• Must understand that attendance is very important in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass DOT Drug Screen and Background Check, and Dependable Transportation.
