Pay Grade/Pay Range: 56 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 31,003.60 Midpoint - $ 45,302.40
Department/Organization: 217301 - Clothing Textiles/Interior Design
Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm
Job Summary: The Academic Advisor I is an entry level advising position. Under direct supervision, the Advisor I will be engaged in academic advising activities that support UA at the institution or college level.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and some experience. Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented experience will be considered.
Skills and Knowledge: Ability to work with a diverse population. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Public speaking skills. Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet and/or database management. Good planning, coordinating, and organizing skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures.
