The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-75,000 USD/year. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus and long-term incentive. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.

About the Role:
The
Account Payable/
Accounts Receivable
Specialist will maintain AP/AR systems, procedures and policies to ensure controls, efficiency and adherence to WellMore company policies. You will be responsible for payment processing, ensuring compliances, evaluating disbursement methods, and providing recommendations to Management.
Location /Workplace :
This is a hybrid position and candidates must be willing and able to work out of the Denver office 2-3 days/week.
What Y ou’ll D o :
Account Receivable
-
Oversee billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
-
Maintain up-to-date billing system.
-
Generate and send out invoices.
-
Perform account reconciliations.
-
Manage accounts receivable customer files and records.
-
Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
-
Process credit card payments.
-
Prepare bank deposits.
-
Process adjustments.
-
Conduct credit checks on new and potential customers.
-
Review and analyze customer discounts in accordance with Customer contracts.
-
Implement debt collection policies and regulations of the company.
-
Implement deadlines for invoicing and payment collection.
-
Monitor the invoicing and money collection processes.
-
Ensure the timely collection of payments.
-
Negotiate with customers in cases when non-payment occurs.
-
Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc forecasting reports
-
Keep records of invoices, deposits, and all correspondence regarding payment collection.
-
Remain informed of any legislative procedural training regarding debt collection. Ensure high quality invoicing and collection procedures that comply with the law
Account Payable
-
Corporate Invoice Processing: Manage subsidiaries invoice and credit card transaction coding, keying and weekly payment processing(check/wires), ensuring prior approvals, billing accuracy, exchange rate management, and timeliness. Interface with managers, responding to questions and concerns as needed. Maintain vendor relationships and reconcile vendor statements monthly. Open PO maintenance. Report weekly aging. Create accruals, reconcile B/S accounts and analyze variances. Negotiate and track early payment discounts.

Cash: Daily bank activity reconciliation. Assist with cash control through monitoring bank account balances.

Taxes: Process timely sales and use, property, federal and state income tax payments. Issue 1099’s.

Other: Assist with annual budget and forecasts, Assist with Year-End-Audit
What W e’re L ooking F or:
-
5+ years of proven work experience in Accounts Payable & Account Receivable
-
Experience with Month End Closing, high volume processing, 3-way matching and purchase order management
-
Strong reconciliation skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
-
Excel proficiency, specifically v-lookups and pivot tables
-
Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite knowledge is a plus)
-
CashApp experience
-
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and General Ledger
-
Ability to work accurately and independently
-
Highly detail oriented and strong organization skills
-
Strong communication skills
Nice to Have :

Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
