TDX Holdings is recruiting for the position of Accountant. This is a regular, full-time position located in Anchorage, AK. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.


JOB SUMMARY:

The Accountant position is responsible for assisting in all accounting operations of the company(s), to include Central Treasury cash receipts posting and reconciliation, Fixed Asset tracking and reconciliation, tax apportionments, and general reconciliations. Work with the Corporate Controller and CFO in accounting and finance matters to achieve organizational goals and efficiencies.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily posting of Central Treasury transactions.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset listing for all companies, including the tracking of additions, deletions, and transfers of assets, and posting of depreciation expense.
  • Assist with gathering information for insurance renewals and maintenance of insurance for vehicles and equipment.
  • Prepare tax apportionment schedules as needed.
  • Assist with the aspects of general ledger accounting, such as monthly journal entries, monthly reconciliations of subsidiary ledgers, monthly accruals and reversals.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree — in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Experience in accounting can be substituted
  • Five years of progressive experience in a functioning accounting system.
  • Good understanding of general ledger
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills required.
  • Strong ability to communicate and present complex financial matters in simple, understandable terms.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and accounting software.
  • Ability to work in a multi company environment with diverse lines of business.
