Riverside Auto Group with locations in Escanaba, Marquette, Iron Mountain, MI and Marinette, WI is currently hiring for an Accounting Clerk to join our growing family-owned dealer group.

Requirements
Essential Job Functions
- Assist the Corporate office with the day-to-day operations of the dealership’s general office
- Review and make a daily bank deposit for all dealership departments
- Review deal paperwork for thoroughness and accuracy prior to processing
- Ensure that all accounting information has been accurately recorded by department personnel
- Communicate with dealership personnel to resolve discrepancies and problems
- Help prepare semi-monthly payroll
- Reconcile and manage payments on select accounts on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule
- Ensure that all manufacturer’s accounts are current and accurate
- Ensure compliance with government regulations
- Compile information and prepare reports as requested by management
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Job Skills
- Applicant must be diligent, organized and extremely detail oriented
- Must have proven work history that displays strong bookkeeping skills, solid knowledge of accounting practices required
- Strong communication skills and able to work as part of a team
- Immediate computer knowledge with MS Office including Excel, accuracy with 10 key pad and typing skills needed
- Self-motivated; able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule
- Knowledge of auto dealership accounting would be helpful but not necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and demands
