SUMMARY:
This position will provide accounting support for all Centralized hotel properties operated by Remington. Responsibilities will include the entry of team member hours into the payroll system and the processing of any adjustments to bi-weekly payroll. Additional duties will include working with hotels income audits, accounts payable, and other related processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive and highly organized.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Entering of timekeeping records in Timesaver or Vantage payroll system including, vacation time, sick pay, bereavement pay, jury duty pay, incentive pay, retro pay, holiday pay, charged tips, and banquet gratuities.
- Transmittal of approved payroll batches to ADP.
- Reporting and reconcile discrepancies between payroll and time systems
- Collect and process all hotel accounts payable submissions
- Closeout purchase orders once invoices have been entered
- Create a bi-weekly open purchase order report and close applicable items
- Provide training and assistance for hotel contacts on accounts payable processes
- Actively seek and reconcile statements from hotel vendors each month.
- Perform any reasonable request as assigned or directed by management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Three (3) or more years of experience as a Payroll Coordinator, Hotel Accountant / Clerk, or similar preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with ADP reporting and ADP software preferred
- Experience in MS Excel preferred
- Ability to be detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
