***GL Staffing is hiring a Accounting & Administration Manager for a manufacturing pharmaceutical company located in Miramar, FL​​​***

Salary: $75,000 not including bonuses

Location: Miramar, FL ,On-site

Position Summary:

As an Accounting & Administration Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing various functions within our company, including accounting, administration, purchasing/inventory, and human resources. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing custom costing proposals, developing and maintaining workflows, standard operational procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide leadership to the following company positions:
  • Staff Accountant: Oversee financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Operations Administrator: Ensure efficient operational processes, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and achievement of KPIs.
  • Purchasing/Inventory: Oversee procurement activities, vendor management, and inventory control to ensure adequate supply while optimizing costs.
  • Human Resources: Provide guidance on HR matters, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Custom Costing Proposals
  • Oversee the development and review of custom costing proposals for clients, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and alignment with company objectives.

Collaborate with sales and business development teams to provide financial insights and support during the proposal process.

  • Workflow and SOP Management
  • Develop and maintain workflows, standard operational procedures (SOPs), and KPIs to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Continuously monitor and evaluate workflows and SOPs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end and year-end closings, financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management.

Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting, finance, and administration roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and internal controls.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with experience in supervising and developing a team.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with GXP regulations and their application in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives and project management is a plus.
