AROCAM Sports is a leader in the direct-to-consumer youth sports uniforms and equipment space. Our suite of brands compliment and align with one another to service a growing US youth sports marketplace. Arocam Sports is currently looking to add an Accounts Payable Assistant that will support our Finance team. This individual must be highly organized with prior AP processing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile all invoices for appropriate billing and prepare appropriate documentation when necessary
- Work cooperatively with the Purchasing Department for rate/discount discrepancies
- Work cooperatively with the Receiving Department for quantity discrepancies
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Maintain vendor files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Support additional duties related to Accounts Payable
- Assist with other projects assigned by senior members of the Finance Department
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
- Must be well organized and a self-starter
- Must have strong work ethics
- Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
- Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable systems and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
