This role is a flexible hybrid role, what that means is a minimum of two days, but more if you prefer in our office in Shakopee, you can select which ever days work best for your life.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepares accounts payable vouchers per SOP's, ensuring proper approvals and/or documentation has been received.
  • Checks problems and past due accounts and answers vendor questions
  • Reviews and issues payment on all expense reports including entertainment and travel reimbursement checks.
  • Makes petty cash disbursements and reconciles the account
  • Maintains accounts payable filing system in an orderly and efficient manner
  • Works on periodic special projects or cost studies as assigned by supervisor
  • Works with other team members to help investigate any vendor/accounts payable related issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications of Position

  • High School diploma
  • 1-3 years accounting experience, formal accounting training, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications of Position

  • Degree in Accounting
  • Previous experience in the printing industry helpful.

Knowledge and Skills

  • General knowledge and understanding of company billing and manufacturing policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of sales tax applications
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Work, Excel and Outlook
