Job duties of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

• Prepares the accounts payable import batches by importing, reviewing, and posting batches in the accounting system
• Establishes and maintains relationships with new and existing vendors and internal business partners
• Maintains accuracy of vendor records and accounts
• Prepares and reviews the weekly payment run
• Processes the employee expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
• Assists in streamlining and improving the accounts payable processes

Qualifications preferred for the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

• 2+ years of related accounting experience
• Demonstrated success with maintaining positive vendor relationships while ensuring consistently on-time and accurate payments
• Intermediate level of computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Direct experience with ERP systems
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and problem solve with excellent attention to detail
