SFI is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing Finance Team in our Watsonville headquarters. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate recording and reporting of customers' payments. This position interfaces with internal staff and external customers via phone and email.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers and post payments to customer accounts
• Calculate total deposits
• Reconcile customer rebates and deductions
• Reconcile international customer payments to general ledger
• Run credit reports for potential and existing customers
• Manage customer account inquiries
• Assist with audits and special projects as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Accounting and 3+ years Accounts Receivable experience; additional work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish a plus
• Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail with excellent follow through
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet competing deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits:

The target hiring range for this position is: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation is based on a variety of relevant factors, including prior work experience, skills, professional qualifications, and internal pay equity.
