The SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Pensacola Beach is looking for a Activities Associate to join our team!

Each day you’ll organize and lead craft and games to help our guests enjoy their vacations and create lifelong memories with their family and friends.

As a Activities Associate, you will be promoting the hotels recreation activities to both children & adults. Activities include but are not limited to pool and outdoor games, crafts and movie nights. Your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to, encouraging, and registering guests for activities, maintaining supplies and creative input of activities. To ensure we are providing the best services to our guests, your duties will entail interacting with guests with an engaging and friendly attitude.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

 Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional

 Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards

 Monitor, supervise and assist guests while executing guest activities

 Assist in promoting activities

 Physical activity includes reaching, bending, pulling, carrying objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds. Stand, sit or walk for an extended period.

Required Skills

 Creative and guest oriented

 Ability to demonstrate good judgement when interacting with guests and team members

 Willingness to learn new programs, such as social media management

 Work with fluctuating schedule based on department requirements

 Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
