ROLE:

Work with director and program staff to provide programming for independent residents that promote the Six Dimensions of Wellness (physical, intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, environmental). 

RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS:

• Work with director and program staff to create, develop, schedule, promote and implement high-quality recreational, social and educational programs, services, outings and entertainment for Independent Residents
• Coordinate scheduled outings with transportation
• Assist director with development of annual budget
• Identify and purchase program supplies; monitor program budget monthly
• Order and purchase merchandise for MarketPlace; comparison shop; manage and maintain inventory  and sales
• Create and develop monthly calendar; publish and distribute
• Participate in mandatory professional development
• Create and support a professional and welcoming environment in service area by promoting cooperation and teamwork with department and all LVL staff
• Maintain proper and professional appearance and adhere to department and organization dress code
• Demonstrate high level of literacy in spoken and written English
• Demonstrate high level of computer literacy
• Lead specific classes as needed
• Identify, work with and support resident volunteers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,040.00 per year

License/Certification:
