Job description
This is a Part-Time position.
1. Develops, leads, executes and directs a wide variety of educational, recreational, nutritional and social activities to meet the needs of the residents of the Bishop Conway Apartments, including but not limited to organizing special events, parties, arts and crafts and trips while evaluating each residents strengths, abilities and preferences within the activity programming.
2. Adheres to each client's service plan promoting their well-being and self-sufficiency.
3. Maximizes the use of volunteers and volunteers groups while scheduling sufficient number of volunteers for all activities.
4. Assists clients in obtaining services required of all relevant regulatory, licensing, funding or accrediting bodies and/or personal needs they may have.
5. Assists Site Director and Office Manager in maintaining up-to-date and accurate client files and databases, as required by agency/ programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing, funding or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations.
6. Responsible for recruiting, coaching, supervising, training, and professional development of volunteers.
7. Reports all complaints and grievances made by the resident, via facility Concern Form.
8. Communicates with all inter-departmental personnel, as well as other facility personnel to assure clients daily needs are met.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:

Relevant Experience:
Preferred: 5 years working with geriatric population. Bilingual Spanish.
Minimum: 3 years working with geriatric population. Two years working in activity programming.
