Experience

2+ years of sales experience in a Client Services environment required, Insurance & Financial background a plus; specifically in annuities, life insurance & managed money

Position Highlights

We are looking for a professional go-getter to talk with potential clients over the phone and discuss the opportunity for them to come in to our firm for an appointment. This role will also assist us in social media marketing and eBlasts to our clients.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

· Screen and register prospects for upcoming events and seminars

· Contact potential clients to discuss financial concerns and needs and convert those leads to appointments with the advisor of the practice

· Assist with greeting incoming clients

· Office administrative responsibilities including ordering, mail, answering phones etc.

· Call Prospects to set appointments and complete follow up & reminder calls

· Manage Account Proposals & Prepare New Business documents

· Assist with social media campaigns using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and eBlasts

Qualifications

· Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

· Strong sales skills with a proven track record.

· Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent oral communication and sales skills

· Highly refined analytical and human relations skills

· Effective time management skills

· Must be self-motivated with a good work ethic, and have demonstrated the discipline to work independently

· Ability to excel in a competitive, team-oriented environment

· Advanced written communication skills

· Problem solving skills, resourceful and effective in making decisions

· Proficient with relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Social Media applications such as Twitter, Facebook & LinkedIn

· High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
