Description: This position will manage the day-to-day responsibilities related to planning and executing facility rentals, programs, and events sponsored by Wagner College Lifelong Learning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Office Operations: Answer and direct incoming phone calls, greet and direct office visitors, manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, and maintain a highly coordinated and professional office setting. Maintain office supply levels. Coordinate with appropriate service units to address maintenance or IT issues for the office.
- Student Support and Enrollment Management: Field inquiries by prospective lifelong learning students and parents and assist in enrollment and registration processes. Prepare class rosters, record attendance and grades as applicable, and assist with communicating class directions to students at the start of each program.
- Client Acquisition and Customer Service: Field inquiries by prospective facility rental clients. Execute client acquisition strategies. Conduct walking tours of campus with prospective clients. Prepare contracts and invoicing for all campus facility rentals. Remit payment to external vendors contracted to provide services, equipment or furniture to support the event.
- Conferences and Event Support: Assist with planning and daily operations of summer residential groups. Manage all aspects of the event planning process including scheduling campus space, coordinating services such as catering, housekeeping, maintenance, security, staffing and communication of events to the campus community.
- As needed, supervises temporary summer conference employees.

QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience: 1 - 3 years office or comparable administrative experience; experience in planning events a plus
Education: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree a plus but not required

Additional Information
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. Wagner College considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
