Administrative Assistant - Maintenance Department
Job description
Job Description:
- Responsible for answering all incoming emails and calls from property managers and tenants
- Check open work orders in Yardi and assign vendors for repairs on all properties
- Close out work orders once work is completed and follow up with property managers to ensure work orders were completed
- Check the SAS emergency line portal for calls made by tenants and/or managers afterhours
- Record all pending and completed work orders on a daily basis
- Send out friendly maintenance reminders to managers
- Post charges to tenant ledger including copy of invoice and Tenant Chargeback letter
- Assist maintenance manager and supervisor as needed
- Review maintenance related invoices
- Follow up with residents to make sure service requests are completed
- Track and document all work using multiple online platforms
Qualification:
- Exceptional customer service ability and positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, Yardi
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Strong sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Previous property management and maintenance work experience preferred
- Proven problem solving and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
