Interfaces with the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep & Allergy faculty, research personnel, division administrator, and staff with grant, contract, subcontract and manuscript submissions to various federal and state agencies, foundations, and industrial firms. Identify potential funding opportunities of the division. Partners with PI’s, administrator, and Sponsored Programs Administration and the VA to negotiate grants and contracts. Serves as Key divisional resource for interpreting and complying with policies, procedures, and sponsor requirements and training division staff and PI’s.
