The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. This position performs professional-level statistical and administrative functions for the Office of Inspector General (OIG).


Job Duties:
  • Records all bureau financial activity
  • Assists with all Human Resources (HR) functions, such as Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), position control, personnel actions and organizational charts
  • Processes and tracks all purchases utilizing the Arizona Purchasing Portal (APP)
  • Utilizes Arizona Financial Information System(AFIS) to track all financial expenditures
  • Manages and coordinates all travel arraignments for the OIG
  • Researches and secures information and documentation in support of the OIG
  • Liaisons with department entities to secure information in support of the OIG and ADCRR needs and goals
  • Researches, tracks, monitors, compiles, and documents statistical information and reports associated with the OIG
  • Maintains confidential records
  • Identifies, researches, and secures equipment and resources needs for bureau unit and staff
  • Performs property inventories and documents losses, procurements, damages and salvage of equipment
  • Participates and completes tasks associated with special projects
  • Participates in required and advanced training to enhance performance
  • Drives on State business
  • Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

Selective Preference(s):
  • Three (3) years of experience working in an administrative or secretarial field
  • Experience with the vehicle fleet management
  • Experience working with Google Suites and the Arizona procurement portal

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Requires possession of, and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12).
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.

Retirement:

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).
Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
