What we are looking for:

The Undergraduate Admissions Marketing team is seeking a detail-oriented and creative writer to provide high-quality content that is informative, accurate and reflective of the Baylor brand. This position is responsible for promoting Baylor to a wide variety of audiences while staying ahead of trends, maintaining consistency and ensuring that the content supports the university’s goals. Additionally, this position must be excellent at both written and verbal communication while staying on top of deadlines in a fast-paced, energetic environment. A Bachelor’s degree, one year of relevant experience and a active Christian Faith is required. Three years of relevant experience is preferred. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What you will do:

• Generate compelling, clear and error-free content for all Admissions Marketing mediums including but not limited to emails, website, print, social media, presentations, digital ads, event communication, goBAYLOR portal and video.
• Tailor unique and applicable content for various audiences like prospective high school students, parents, transfer students, high school counselors and international students.
• Proactively manage workload through team project management software (ClickUp), Admissions CRM (Slate) and communicate important deadlines to key stakeholders.
• Assist in researching and fact-checking to ensure consistency across the various Admissions Marketing mediums.
• Collaborate with university marketing staff and other partners to understand their message, brand voice and target audience.
• Assist with vendor relationships and print process logistics as needed.
• Other duties as assigned within the Admissions Marketing digital, print and strategy teams.
