Timpte is growing and looking for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Manager at our David City, NE Manufacturing Facility (on-site). The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the Manufacturing Engineering Department to support production operations, including process design, optimization, and improvement, equipment selection, and development of manufacturing processes and tools. This position reports to the Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, Manage, and develop the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team to achieve production targets in safety, quality, cost, and throughput.
• Implement new products and current product changes on the shop floor.
• Identify, develop, and implement process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives to improve product quality and increase efficiency and productivity.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; MRP/ERP business software and Solid Works CAD software.
• Experience in industrial equipment manufacturing is preferred.
• Previous management experience is required.
• Ability to coach and develop a team of engineers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record for travel.
