Advanced Practice Provider – St Francis Hospital Cardiac Rounding Service
at Good Samaritan Hospital
Responsibilities will include:
- The Advanced Practice Provider will assist collaborating St. Francis Hospital-South Bay Cardiovascular physicians in providing consultation and rounding assessments, diagnosis, care and treatment of patients at Good Samaritan Hospital, West Islip, New York.
- Appropriate ordering of tests and medications.
- Receiving, interpreting and communicating testing results
- Coordinating admissions and/or transfers to other facilities
- Consult and coordinate with multidisciplinary team in formulating an appropriate plan of care
Requirements:
- Cardiology experience
- Bachelor of Science, Masters preferred in an AMA approved PA or NP program
- NYS Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
- PA or NP Board Certification
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Four day work week with weekend rotation
