About the job:

The APRN - NP Specialty provides acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. This position will round in hospital and complete consults.

  • Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program.
  • Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
  • Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred
  • BLS provider certification required
  • ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALs required for some departments (see Exhibit A)

  • A license Physician Assistant will be considered as well.
