PGP AG Sales/Precision Ag Specialist
Job Description/Duties
1. What is this position?
a. The purpose of this position is to take a leadership role in PGP's Ag Sales, Precision ag platform as well as product application. This is a full time position at Prairie Grain Partners, Clarkfield Location, with full benefits, paid on Salary.
b. Being a Certified Crop Advisor preferred, but with help attain the certification.
c. Main Job Duties Include, But not limited to:
i. Warehouse management and Inventory management
ii. Proper application of products, dry fertilizer, and liquid chemical
iii. Machine maintenance, equipment maintenance
iv. Product Delivery
v. Seed Treatment
vi. Crop Scouting
vii. Precision Ag Lead, AI360, grid sampling, composite sampling, mapping
viii. Entry into sales- Start with several customers
2. What is the Goal of this position?
a. To gain valuable experience in retail agronomy, from purchasing on the wholesale market to applying the product to the grower's field.
b. Help grow the business in Agronomy Sales. Fertilizer, Chemicals, Seed and Services.
c. Coach and develop lifelong skills in Agricultural business.
