Job Description:

The Airplane Operations Specialist performs the listed essential responsibilities and optimizes day to day activities. Also tracks and analyzes various reports. This position works closely with management staff, Chief instructors, and students as a point of contact that perform administrative and operational tasks.

Job Duties:

• Database entry and maintenance of student, flight instructor and training course information
• Generate and update reports
• Assist with scheduling and resource utilization
• Invoice customers and employees for services and materials
• Audit flight logs and accurate billing
• Compose correspondence and other confidential documentation
• Other duties as assigned by Chief, Assistant Chief Instructor, or Campus Manager
• Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures
• Track and report on operational performances
• Test facility proctor
• Support role as dispatch when needed.

Qualifications/Licenses:

• Valid driver's license with good driving record preferred.
• High School Diploma.
• Has to be US citizen or US legal resident alien (required in order to be a test proctor).

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience with aviation, small business management, working with international students, and safety management systems preferred
• Experience in office management or an administrative role
• Project management and leadership experience
