The Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist is responsible to provide complete collections & customer service regarding billing problems by performing the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains records of written communication, adjustments, and disputed information
- Delegation of Authority – customer adjustment; processing credits to stores and locations
- Merchandise/Tool Audit reports for store locations
- Lost Merchandise and Tool Bill Outs for Franchises/Licensees
- Merchandise and Tool Bill Out for agency/ write off accounts at the end of each month
- Lost Merchandise/Tool Report
- Send monthly and quarterly reports to Senior Management and CFO
- Interface with field staff and store managers to handle any minor account disputes
- Ability to work with clients and customers on billing questions in Spanish
- Microsoft Office proficiency a must (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Maintains accuracy in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as departmental reports and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
