We are seeking an analyst for the finance team within the Home National Team (HNT), which has joint responsibility with our Field teammates for the nearly $2 billion revenue home dialysis business across the U.S. The ideal candidate for this career opportunity will be a quick-learner, ambitious, resilient, and team player.

DaVita has been investing significantly in a differentiated offering for the last decade+ and is uniquely positioned to continue to lead the way in the space. As a result, peritoneal dialysis (PD) and home hemodialysis (HHD) together have been growing significantly faster than the core in-center dialysis business. This continues to be one of our top strategic priorities because

  • We believe that dialyzing at home provides important clinical benefits for patients, in addition to improved quality of life and

  • In 2019, CMS announced its intention to significantly increase the utilization of a home modality or transplant and has established several pilots and programs to incentive this growth.

Responsibilities Include:

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

Decision Support

  • Prepare detailed analyses of operational results, variance to budget, and tracking to forecast on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

  • Partner with HNT to provide strategic insights and comprehensive data analysis

  • Present insightful analysis and concise recommendations to senior leadership

  • Enhance performance metric acumen across the HNT

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Build operational and financial models to support business decisions

  • Create high-level guidance and supporting analytics for annual budgeting process

  • Support long-range strategic planning and forecasting in partnership with Corporate Finance & Corporate Strategy teams

Data Analytics

  • Prepare and clean data for cloud databases and ad-hoc analyses

  • Analyze large datasets, craft insights, and present findings to teammates with diverse experience and business needs

  • Create data visualizations within Excel and ThinkCell

  • Build and maintain complex Anaplan models

  • Train and educate users of Home-specific Anaplan Models

  • Leverage other tools for data analysis, including Essbase, Visiser, and Tableau

Project Management

  • Collaborate with technical teams on Anaplan Model development, maintenance, and data integrations

  • Create and maintain project deliverables

  • Identify and implement process improvements within Home Finance team

Ad-hoc Analysis

  • Craft ad hoc analyses for field operations and senior management

  • Provide subject matter expertise towards business case development and ROI

  • Track performance of key initiatives

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to:

  • Attend team meetings, video conferences, and trainings as needed

  • Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures

  • Travel required: up to 5%

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required

  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in corporate finance, corporate strategy, investment banking, management consulting, and/or other comparable field

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, LOOKUPs, charts, etc.) and PowerPoint

  • Experience working with large datasets required; working experience with Hyperion Essbase and Anaplan are a plus

Salary/ Wage Range

$51,400.00 - $75,500.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
