Overview: Responsible for providing expert technical advise to sales teams and customers on the design and implementation of complex software solutions and professional services implementations. seasoned professional with a full understanding of the job roles and responsibilities who supports the more complicated issues facing the department. Responsibilities: - Responsible for expert technical advice and counsel for complex solutions used within the software/servers and professional and consulting services delivered to customers. - Works with development groups on customer issues and product enhancements. - Provides technical information on new products and current product enhancements. - Generates technical bulletins, product video's and workshops on information as needed to field organizations. - Works on issue resolutions and escalates to development groups when necessary. - Tests all solutions before release to customers. - Collaborates on the preparation of sales proposals and participates in developing workflows and assessments by assisting with developing a Proof of Concept (POC) to be delivered to the end customer for their review and approval. - Collaborates on complex configurations and new product structure. - Assists with product training and workshops. - Creates Technical Bulletins and Video's on Product features and enhancements. - Manages large implementations for the group. - up to 50% travel and must have a Valid Passport Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience. - Relevant business experience relating to printing pre-sales/post-sales support in production printing and commercial printing environments. - DataStream knowledge of AFP, PS, PDF, VIPP, PPML and LCDS/Meta code a plus. - Understanding of complex systems solutions, integration and networking in Windows, UNIX, and Macintosh environments. - Complete all required Product and Personal Development training assigned. - Complete any job specific training and/or certifications. - Must have JDF/JMF experience Company Overview: About our Company - Canon Solutions America, Inc. empowers companies of all sizes to succeed by supplying market leading enterprise, production, and large format printing solutions, supported by exceptional professional service offerings.
