Key Responsibilities:

The Analyst – Strategic Initiatives will play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of the Employee Experience strategy. As United’s workforce expands to support our growth plans, the focus on employees remains at the center of our strategic direction. This team is designed to take ideas from inception through execution that support the efforts to enhance the employee experience & solidify United’s Service Culture within our workforce.

  • Provide logistical support for project related meetings (agenda, minutes, timelines, task list)
  • Maintain key project deliverables (issues log, risk matrix, project status reports, business cases, post-project reviews, leadership presentations)
  • Analyze operational and performance data to provide statistics, trends, and reporting in a digestible way to the team to inform leadership decision-making
  • Identify potential barriers to success, work toward solutions and/or escalate as necessary

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree (Bachelor’s degree in business, aviation, sociology and/or psychology) or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years’ work experience, or demonstrated relevant experience
  • 1+ years supporting strategic projects, or demonstrated relevant experience
  • Leading projects that are small in scope, risk, and/or organizational span (Provide leadership with insight as to any risks and issues potentially affecting the project/activity)
  • Working with and creation of different process mapping techniques
  • Confidence in utilizing data and stakeholder input to craft presentation materials that tell a story
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in facilitating, delegating, and motivating cross functional groups or activities
  • Highly organized, and the ability to multi-task competing priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Microsoft Suite -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vision, and Project proficiency
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
