Join our growing team! Southern Maine Agency on Aging is seeking a strategic, energetic, experienced, and hands-on Annual Giving Manager for 32 – 40 hours per week. The Annual Giving Manager keeps the Southern Maine Agency on Aging’s Development Department running smoothly and ensures that the Agency’s high expectations for internal and external customer service are being met. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and executing annual appeals, planning fundraising events, and working closely with individual and corporate donors. This position communicates directly with individual donors and works closely with the Development & Communications Director and CEO to cultivate individual donor relationships.
Candidate should be comfortable working remotely but also be able to report to our Biddeford, Maine office 2 - 3 times a week
Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience working in the development office of a non-profit organization, including planning and executing annual appeals, and fundraising events and working closely with individual and corporate donors.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with donors, community partners, staff, Board members, and other Agency volunteers.
- Exceptional skills in the areas of organization, attention to detail, time management, ability to manage multiple tasks, define and set priorities and problem solve.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Excellent reading, writing, and grammar skills. Both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated team player with strong collaboration abilities.
