Job description

We are looking for an experienced API Java Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in Java, API and Microservices development. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain complex systems using Java, API, and Microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality code in Java, API, and Microservices.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Provide technical leadership to the team in terms of architecture, design, and coding standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop new features and enhancements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues in production systems.
• Mentor and train junior developers on the team.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that code meets coding standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
• Work in an agile development environment and participate in agile ceremonies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Experience in developing and managing API gateways.
• Excellent understanding of API design patterns and best practices.
• Solid experience in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, etc.).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Strong experience in AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers.
