We are a mid size commercial honeybee operation. Tending to the needs of about 3000 colonies. Tasks vary depending on the season. Almond pollination is the beginning of our season followed by increase production (nucing/splitting). We then move in to honey production and extraction. In the fall we stay very busy with fall hive maintenance of feeding and disease prevention and then winter preparation and storage. All employees are an integral part of these processes.

Responsibilities and Duties

Regular work schedule is 8 am to 5 pm (fall and winter) 7am to 4pm (spring and summer). additional shifts available for some early morning or late evening bee moving during certain times of year.

Qualifications and Skills

Males, within Local Commuting Distance, with Valid Drivers Licences, age 18 to 35...... please apply.

Size Medium to XL for bee gear apparrel.

self starter

able to lift and carry 50 lbs. repetitively while receiving a bee sting on occasion.

positive attitude

capable of handling bee stings

Clean Driving record and Valid Drivers License

Knowledge of Trucks, Trailers, Forklifts, Construction or Welding is a plus.

Local Area Hire Only. you must be within a reasonable commute distance.

Idaho or Oregon Resident preferred. (western treasure valley specifically)

Currently hiring for summer and fall beekeeping operations, ideal candidate will be a hard worker that knows how to put safety first, in a physically demanding environment.
