Responsibilities:
- Works under direct supervision and oversight in a production support and/or project team environment to deliver both custom-developed and package-based software.
- Works to increase understanding of business systems and end to end processes, as well as improving programming skills.
- Follows standard processes in order to code, test, and analyze low complexity software programs and applications.
- Performs coding and unit testing for custom-developed applications.
- Provides production support to existing applications as needed. Adheres to software development lifecycle and service management processes.
- Obtains and increases knowledge with respect to relevant technology, tools, processes and related best practices.
- Actively participates in special projects as assigned.
- Travels occasionally in order to participate in special assignments, training, and/or travel between office locations.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of application programming, coding or related IT work experience/internship.
- Experience prioritizing assignments to ensure deadlines are met.
- Experience analyzing and solving low complexity problems.
- Experience learning new information, retaining, and applying in a work/school environment.
- Experience using office and computer equipment, and software packages.
- Solid oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical (e.g. computer science, information systems, engineering) field or commensurate work experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.
- Physical essential functions: ability to work 40 hours in an office environment (sitting, standing, on a computer, etc.), operate office related technology (computer, phone, etc.), travel as required.
