Sales Application Engineer

The Sales Application Engineer will bring a capability to understand customer processes, troubleshoot product issues, apply problem solving tools and effectively communicate a resolution. They will bring an ability to custom tailor their sales approach to address the unique needs of a customer and market. This individual should bring knowledge of high-performance resins and specialty compounds, including custom formulations, masterbatches, fluoroplastics, and thermosets. This individual will have an opportunity to gain experience and be mentored by the Director of Engineering. After a year, they will take over a GA and TN territory.

LOCATION: Charlotte, NC

The Sales/Application Engineer will be responsible for leading a Southeastern Territory in:

• Territory Planning and Strategy
• Account Development
• Culture Management
• Profitability Management
• New Customer Development

Education/Experience:

• Four-year college degree or better, preferred degree in technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years industry experience or 2 years internal training
• Experience calling on OEM's, preferably with Consumer-Packaged Goods, Construction, and/or Building enterprises

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
