Job Title: Applications Developer Department: WS
Expected Weekly Hours: 40 Reports to: Operations Manager
Position Summary
This position is responsible for developing applications to support the operational activities of the client’s business unit(s). If you are an applications developer who enjoys working on cutting edge technologies for large scale projects, this position is for you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall design, development and team coordination on business systems/applications under deadline pressure
  • Communicate standards and defend technology and scoping decisions to the client’s information technology management and development teams
  • Focus on one of two needed solution areas as assigned by client
    • Collaborate with client devices development team to develop an Order Management System
    • Collaborate with client cloud data center operations team to develop an Inventory Management System
  • Support test automation efforts and contribute to team level verification and test data repositories and documentation
  • Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in software development; experience to include
    • 3+ years of experience writing in C# and .NET
    • 3+ years of experience developing on Azure platforms such as DevOps and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Experience with ADO build & release pipelines
  • Experience developing middle layer and backend solutions

  • Strong verification mindset for developing test plans against business needs
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and perform multiple tasks in parallel
  • Strong ability to independently and successfully work from request instructions with minimal supervision
  • Must have demonstrated interest in, and knowledge of, broad but related areas of technology
  • Highly detailed and organized approach to process/SOP management, with proven experience in establishing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships across a varied set of stakeholders and organizations
  • Excellent communicator with expertise in written, visual and presentation formats and running effective stakeholder connection rhythms
  • Self-starter, with shared ownership mindset and excellent attention to detail
  • Self-awareness, the ability to be self-critical, and a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Excellent email, telephone and virtual meeting etiquette
  • Customer service orientated, ensuring needs are met in a timely fashion
  • Ability to take opportunities for continuous improvement and implement documented process improvements
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently; demonstrated organization, problem-solving, project management, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated strong ability to remotely work well within a team environment, or independently; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to work and interact effectively with team members from other disciplines, cultures, and organizations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively inform and present ideas confidently and persuasively to peers and managers
  • Ability to take initiative to ask questions, ask for help, or provide updates, without reluctance
  • Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for working in the US without RLA sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Strong computer skills that include proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio), Teams and SharePoint

Language Skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the duties of the position.
