Summary
This position is three 12-hour shifts / 36 hours weekly, with a rotating Saturday.
Qualifications
- Advanced Practitioner / Physician Assistant Florida licensure
- Minimum 3 years’ post licensing experience, working independently, in family medicine, urgent care clinics or a combination.
Education, skills, and experience
- Graduate of an accredited program, APRN, NP, or PA program
- Ability to treat Urgent Care presentations: (Chest Pain, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, etc.)
- Foreign body removal
- Laceration repair, Suturing skills
- Abscess I & D
- Diagnose, treat, & splint fractures
- DOT Certification required within 30 days
- Professional examination experience (i.e. Firefighter’s physicals, etc.)
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience (good typing & computer skills)
- Worker’s Comp experience preferred
- Great Customer Service and Communication skills with patients and their primary care physicians

EHCC Hours: 7 AM – 7:30 PM (half hour lunch) 3-12s with a rotating Saturday.
