Job description
JTG is currently seeking Arabic, Malay, and Indonesian Simultaneous Interpreters and Linguists with TS/SCI clearance.Location: Washington, DC
Status: Full-time or freelance, as needed
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
- Provide translation, interpreting, and transcription services in support of Commissions hearings and interviews held at US Naval Station
- Convey colloquial, idiomatic, and formal discourse through simultaneous interpreting
- Translate general and technical legal materials
- Transcribe English audio/video discovery materials
- Possess Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
- Tested at ILR 4 in listening, reading, writing, and speaking
- Available for travel for extended periods of time
- Experience in legal/court environment and terminology
