Help Wanted: Full-time Architectural CAD Drafter, Employee or Independent Contractor option.

Starting pay scale: $35/hour. Beginning April 15th for training and assimilation into the work environment.

We are currently seeking an experienced CAD drafter to join our small architectural firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating detailed architectural drawings of all phases of work, using VectorWorks on a Mac.

Work location: small Mill Valley oce, prefer in-person minimum three days/week with flex remote hours

Likes dogs, small dog on premises

Responsibilities:

* Create detailed architectural drawings for residential and commercial projects

* Collaborate with the project architect to ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings

* Revise drawings as necessary for client and internal reviews

* Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files, including back-up

* Importing and exporting files into construction documents

Requirements:

* Proficiency in VectorWorks on a Mac

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* Familiarity with building codes and regulations

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word

* Experience in construction document layout, details, and development

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay

Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience: VextorWorks: 3 years (Preferred)
