Shift Hours: 3rd Shift (Overnight Shift)

As an Armed Security Officer with Blackwell Professional Support Services, Inc., you will oversee a physical property, assist the needs of residents/tenants, and visitors with high-touch customer service, collaborate with third party vendors, and meet the demands of the property. The position reports directly to the District Manager.? Additional duties are outlined below:?

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and visitors
• Utilize hospitality and customer service practices while performing property specific job duties
• Maintain approved access control to the property
• Maintain excellent communication and reporting
• Perform security patrols in vehicle, on foot, and in areas that may not be climate controlled
• Monitor cameras, alarm systems, and other specialized software
• Enforce parking area policies
• Additional property specific duties may be required

• Must hold a current St. Louis County Armed Security License with Pepper Spray Certification, or the ability to obtain one
• Must own weapon in accordance with St. Louis County Armed Security Office regulations or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass weapons qualification and drug test
• Must hold an active and valid Missouri or Illinois drivers license
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• A minimum of 3 years of armed security, military, or armed forces experience
• Computer literacy with a focus on reporting
• Positive, team-focused attitude
• Shift flexibility is desired
