The candidate will lead custom mixed signal ASIC development and proprietary algorithms for smart energy portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for creating specifications, design, implement, verification, and validation of ASIC design. The candidate will work closely with control and software engineers to integrate complex IPs in ASIC.

Essential Functions:
  • Define mixed signal ASIC design specifications
  • Design, implement, and debug design
  • Integrate IPs into to the ASIC
  • Assist with bring-up and validation
  • Collaborate with semiconductor partners through all phases of ASIC development

Knowledge and Skills:
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 years’ relevant work experience
  • Experience leading ASIC teams is a strong plus
  • Strong background in digital, analog custom circuit design, and digital signal processing
  • Knowledge and experience in SoC architecture, RTL design/coding and integration
  • Experience using FPGA platforms for ASIC emulation
  • Experience integrating microprocessor core and all other surrounding infrastructure
  • Experience in all phases of ASIC development process
