This role produces sub-assembly products according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. Other responsibilities include:
  • Operates tools and production equipment needed to build computer boards.
  • Retrieves diagrams from computer and studies blueprints.
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and assembly procedures within electronic manufacturing field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Uses experience and judgment to identify steps and procedures within diagrams.
  • Works with light chemicals for sealing PCB boards in a controlled environment.
  • May need to perform documentation.
  • Conforms with ESD policy, safety practices, FOD control, and ISO procedures.
  • The goal for this individual is to have zero OBF's in the performance of their job function, and to produce results that exceed quality goals and increase customer satisfaction.
Requires:
Education: High school diploma or its equivalent
Experience: One years of experience in the field of electronics preferred
Physical: Must be able to manipulate small objects with hand and see objects with small details and parts. Performs assembly at a work bench in sitting and standing positions. Must be able to solder and use various hand tools, including a crimper and a ruler.
