Overview: Crawford Construction Corp is seeking an Assistant Project Coordinator to support in the supervision & repairs of Bank Owned Properties, Real Estate Owned Properties, Tenant Occupied Properties (Property Management), Unit Turns, & Insurance Claims. The Applicants will be expected to complete detail reports & proposals for the Residential Service Repairs & Rehabs (PM), Bank Owned Properties, & Private Sector (Homeowners) using our estimating software systems. Candidates are required to be familiar with general construction practices, should have strong computer skills and be able to read and understand plans, diagrams, sketches, etc. Prior involvement in property in these related fields is preferable.

Experience with Residential Service Maintenance & Preservation Field Service Companies such as Safeguard Properties, Northsight Management, Eden, MCS, etc. is a plus. You will be expected to attend a three-day mandatory training program prior to the official hire/start date.

ASSISTANT PROJECT COORDINATOR: Duties/Responsibilities

1. Some knowledge in construction including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.

2. Assists crews; certify that materials used are up to code and quality via photo documentation. These skills will ensure that you are able to oversee Contractors repairs and make sure that work is performed up to Crawford Construction Corps standards.

3. Ideal if familiar with Property Management, Northsight Mgmt., Safeguard, Eden, and other Field Service Company requirements such as timeframe and expectations.

4. Ensure we are meeting Company quota for projects on a weekly basis.

5. Produce estimates, invoices, generate/process work orders, insert weekly progress report, work order queue maintenance, & close-outs.) for the Vendor Web, Pruvan Property Pres Wiz & ePropertyPlus in a timely manner.

6. Complete monthly performance, financial, and production reports to ensure we are meeting company goals and expectations.

7. Acts as liaison between the clients, upper management & field crews.

8. Create detail estimates using XACTPRM, Bluebook, Invoice 2 Go, Letterhead Excel, etc.

9. Prepare documents such as permit applications, contracts, etc., COI, bonds required to expedite building permits from local Cities, Villages & Townships. Act as company’s Expediter to pull permits.

10. Upkeep of calendar, inserting appointments, events, and project schedules (start/completion dates - deadlines) for daily activities & task.

11. Prepare bid packages to which include, estimates, back-end documentation & notarizing for Government RFP, IFB, other open solicitations, etc. such as Chicago Housing Authorities, Housing Authority Cook County, Lake County Housing Authority & more.

12. Maintain filings system of Sub-contractor/Vendor accounts, receipts, permits, contracts, lien waivers & other pertinent documents
